MGEA was formed in 1993 by geothermal contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and electric utilities to promote high quality geothermal energy systems that meet the comfort, efficiency, and environmental needs of customers.
Over the years, the volunteer help of board and committee members has given MGEA a strong base for future growth, and has enabled the Association to put its resources into the development of marketing programs and member services. Here's what you get as a member:

Down-to-Earth tabloid, a four-page marketing piece with general information on geothermal for interested consumers.
MGEA also has an 800 number for member and public use, promotes the Association and its members in trade shows, and sponsors geothermal workshops.
